Therapeutic Yoga Workshop

Therapeutic Yoga is an excellent choice for those who need something gentle yet effective for bringing the body into balance and reducing stress. In this workshop, participants will be led through a gentle practice to invite a balance of stability (strength) and mobility (ease of movement) to the body. The practice will be focused on inviting safe movement to the hips, pelvic girdle, and lower back. There will be time reserved to break down various poses to look at alignment and discuss more deeply the goal and the sensations we should expect when practicing. We will end the workshop with a lovely guided relaxation and Savasana. 

Small group workshops allow for a more intimate setting. You will benefit from a more personalized learning experience in a serene space. No previous yoga experience is necessary.

Megan is a Physical Therapist and Yoga Instructor specializing in Women’s and Pelvic Health. Through the practices of Yoga, she has been able to better connect with clients to teach them real life strategies to gain control of their health and well-being restoring balance to their bodies and lives.  A strong believer in the power of touch, Megan offers loving assists to her students to deepen their awareness of body alignment and surrender.
