Chakra Meditation Workshop

with Bernie Marchand, E-RYT-200

Join us for a workshop designed to relax the body and focus the mind. We will begin this workshop with an interactive discussion about the seven chakras.  After the chakra discussion, we will do gentle stretches to relax the body for meditation. Then, you will be guided through a wonderful chakra meditation practice.

This workshop is open to all levels of practitioners. A yoga mat and journal is encouraged but not required. There will be time for Q&A at the end of the workshop.

Bernie Marchand is an E-RYT-200 who has over 1,500 hours of teaching experience. She started meditating in 2005 to help heal emotional turmoil. By 2013, she graduated from Yoga Landing's Teacher Training program. With her B.A. in anthropology she learned to see through the cultural shrouds that can blind us to our depths. To deepen her knowledge of the physical body, Bernie studied Anatomy and Physiology. Now pursuing her graduate degree, she strives to live her yoga everyday. Bernie has been a Yoga Teacher in Residence for two years at the Center for Healing Therapies, in addition to co-organizing their yoga program. She has taught over 2,000 students at 8 different studios on the East Coast.
