Candlelight Restorative Yoga Workshop

RENEW YOUR MIND, BODY & SOUL

Join us for a 2-hour guided Restorative Yoga practice to bring back the harmony between body, mind and soul. Restorative Yoga is a practice which involves placing the body into fully supported yoga postures with the use of props (blankets, bolsters, blocks, etc.) to encourage deep relaxation and calming of the mind. Among the benefits of practicing Restorative Yoga are release of chronic stress, tension, pain, anxiety and fatigue. This practice helps calm the nervous system which also helps balancing hormones and support the immune system.

Therapeutic essential oils will also be offered throughout the workshop.

What to bring: Yoga mat, blanket, strap (if you prefer to use your own). Otherwise, you are welcome to use the props that we have available at Marcela's Yoga Boutique.

Alicia started teaching Yoga 10 years ago and has worked in the fitness industry for over 15 years.  In 2014 she started her own business, Alicia Cross Training, LLC.  She is certified in Personal Training, Fitness Nutrition, Wellness Coaching, Thai Massage, and will be completing her 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2017.  Alicia combines her years of experience, broad knowledge, and a passion for wellness and fitness to empower others to discover the peace and strength that comes from within.
