Join us for a 2-hour guided Restorative Yoga practice to restore and renew your mind, body and soul.  Restorative Yoga is a practice which involves placing the body into fully supported yoga postures with the use of props (blankets, bolsters, blocks, etc.) to encourage deep relaxation and calming of the mind.  This wonderful workshop will be led by Yoga Instructor, Nikki Powers.  She will guide you through a slow, meditative practice concentrating on the following: Pranayama (breath work), Asanas (postures) and Meditation.  You will learn how to use your breath and stay in a meditative state as you transition from one posture to another and melt into each posture with an open heart and peaceful mind.

BENEFITS OF THIS PRACTICE:

  • Relieves muscle tension

  • Relaxes the nervous system

  • Relieves anxiety

  • Reduces stress

  • Improves focus

  • Increases serotonin levels

  • Provides a sense of calm, peace, and balance
